Bill Beaumont – Chairman
Bill is the Company Chairman, having taken a step back from the business since his son Daniel joined the business.
Bill was previously the Sales Director of J Blackledge & Son where he was responsible for the business’ sales growth and receipt of the Queens Award for Export in 1996. As Managing Director of Bill Beaumont Textiles, he established the Company in the soft furnishings industry where the Company enjoys its success today.
Bill now spends most of his time now involved in rugby administration where he has held roles such as RFU Chairman, Vice Chairman of the International Rugby Board and has been a Rugby World Cup Director.
Hilary Beaumont – Design Director
Prior to having her three sons, Hilary was a French teacher but always had an interest in fashion and design. As a student, she designed and made her own clothes and when her boys were young she completed a Design & Fashion course at night school.
She was able to apply this interest and skills when she joined her husband Bill in the business in 1998 when the strategic decision to expand into the home furnishings market was taken, and the Company was renamed Bill Beaumont Textiles. She is responsible for the selection and colourings of our range of fabrics. Our well-deserved reputation in the market can be attributed to Hilary’s style and vision for future trends.
Daniel Beaumont – Managing Director
Having spent five years in the professional services industry in London, Daniel joined the family business in 2011.
Daniel worked in the business prior to attending the University of Manchester, where he achieved a BA in International Business, Finance and Economics, and an MSc in Management of Projects. He then went onto to become an ACA qualified Chartered Accountant and specialised in business advisory and due diligence. He joined Bill Beaumont Textiles as Operations Director, then took over as Managing Director when Bill became Chairman of the RFU.
